I’m not linking to all the madness, which includes speculation that Tuesday’s Verizon announcement will include Steve Jobs and Rupert Murdoch (he won’t show, but will later in the month when it’s time to talk about his new iPad newspaper), but honestly, to me this is pretty much a “meh,” because we knew Apple+Verizon was coming. What matters now is whether the competition between AT&T and Verizon will force Apple to change its approach to the market, now that it has massive partners who want to leverage the platform to compete (and try to get Apple to give them special dispensation).
